Provides the same friction as rubber.
Longer Service Life - The ball and mounting plate are Molded in One Piece, rather than screwed together, for longer service life and to ensure the stability of the device. Cast in one piece of aluminum for strength and durability under the impact of waves. Relative to the 1" ball, the 1.5" ball is more reliable and stable in harsh marine environments.
