The compasses are essential instruments in navigation, for measuring distances on the Nautical Chart, for mapping positions, for plotting the estimated position, for plotting the LDP “Position Line" distance and range of lighthouses and other navigation aids.

This compass set case is in fair condition. The case inside is a litte rough but can be cleaned. There is wear on the case throughout.
