VitaCraft's unique "4-layer nitriding process" overcomes the weakness of iron, "rusting. By applying the processing technology used for ships and other vessels, where rust is a major enemy, nitrogen is applied to the surface of the iron to increase surface strength, resulting in a strong, rust-resistant iron frying pan. The fine irregularities created by the nitriding process absorb oil, preventing it from sticking to the pan, resulting in a beautiful browning of baked dishes and crispy frying.
