Vintage English China chintz cream pitcher and open sugar set in the Cloisonne pattern. Made in England in the 1930's-1940's by Royal Winton Grimwades pottery. The pattern consists of hand-painted blue and yellow flowers applied to a transferware background of gold leaves and vines. The colors are bright, and the gold trim and gold handle show minimal wear. The open sugar is about 3" square by 2 1/4" high. The creamer is about 4 1/4" wide over the lip and handle, 2 1/4" deep and 2 1/2" high. There are no chips, flakes, cracks or repairs. The set is in very good used vintage condition.
