Roseville Art Pottery out of Zanesville, Ohio continues to be highly collectible art pottery and prized for the floral designs and artwork pieces. The evergreen Zephyr Lily collection was introduced in 1946 as one of the standard colors along with blue and brown. The basket has raised lilies, yellow on one side and pink on the other with slender green leaves surrounded by embossed swirls covering the recessed body of the basket. Beautiful art deco style.
Preowned with the classic Roseville matte finish; minor crazing with no chips or repairs. There are two pinpoint glaze pops on upper basket rim on yellow lily side and minor shelf wear on bottom. The handle has a rounded area of dark green glaze coloring. Roseville script, USA and production number 394-8" are raised and clear on bottom. Measures approx 8.75"H and 7.75".
