He's a real cutie!! Made by American Bisque. He is in great condition for his age. Has a couple very small chips on rim of jar. Discoloration is due to the fact he was well loved and kept filled with cookies. Ceramics are porous, so the butter from the cookies is what causes the discoloration. There is a small mark on his left side, which is not a chip. It is original to the jar as it is under the glaze. I bet the person carving the pottery, dropped a tool which caused the lines.
