Here is a great looking Olde World style Terrestre Globe of Earth that stands on a heavy Cast Iron Base with bow & arrow type finals! This Globe was made in 1970 as a modern replica of a 1745 Terrestre Globe Paris Globe from Robert DeVaugondy.
The Earth as it was known in the 18th century.
A great piece of 1970 history of how they were look at the world back then.
