For the first time, the "Hard to Find 45 s on CD" series ventures into the 1980 s with volume #14, brimming with 70 minutes of classic Top 20 hits, many of which are out-of-print on CD. As always, we present only the correct single versions in true stereo from the original master tapes (including the CD debut of the single version of Dr. Buzzard's Original Savannah Band's "Cherchez La Femme"). Highlights include the terrific but rare "I Love You" by Climax Blues Band, "The Captain of Her Heart" by Swiss duo Double, and the '80 s-flavored update of "Puttin' on the Ritz" by Taco. Six of these songs reached #1 or #2 on the charts, including the much sought-after hits "Undercover Angel," "Easy Lover" and "Baker Street." All in all, a terrific mix of thoroughly enjoyable pop gems! Expect the famous sound and packaging quality found on all the Eric "Hard to Find 45 s on CD" volumes. We actually use three sound engineers on every track! Includes a 12-page booklet with detailed biographies of all the artists by Greg Adams. No real oldies collection is complete without these "Hard to Find 45 s!"
