Central Ohio-based guitarist Tim Cummiskey performs as both a leader and a sideman throughout the Midwest. As a sideman, he has performed and/or conducted clinics with John Abercrombie, Howard Alden, Carl Allen, Gene Bertoncini, Chris Buzzelli, Benny Golson, Tim Hagans, Ingrid Jensen, Hank Marr and Frank Vignola. Tim is also a contributing writer to Downbeat Magazine and Just Jazz Guitar Magazine. He is also a featured player in the May edition of 20th Century Guitar Magazine. This is his first CD as a leader on the String Jazz label, and it features bassist Chris Berg and drummer Jim Rupp.
