The TG-7UB Upgrade Board updates a TG-7, TG-7A, or TG-7FS device to use the 5G LTE-M Cellular Network by simply swapping the new circuit board for the one currently installed in the enclosure.
Telguard has released the TG-7UB-A and TG-7UB-V upgrade boards, certified for AT&T and Verizon 5G LTE-M networks. These upgrade boards make the conversion of prior technology Telguard commercial intrusion and fire communicators simpler and more affordable than a complete device replacement.
In a matter of minutes, you can simply replace the circuit board with a new 5G LTE-M upgrade board without disturbing the site’s UL certifications. This upgrade increases the longevity of an existing Telguard 7 Series cellular communicator, ensuring customer retention and protecting your earned RMR. Activation and service procedures remain the same as they have been for all Telguard products.
