Darth Bane is beginning to suffer from drawing heavily upon the Dark Side of the Force for so many years. At the same time, he has begun to doubt his apprentice, Zannah, as she has not yet attempted to kill him. When he learns of an ancient Sith artifact that may hold the secret to immortality, he seeks out in search of it alone.
