Squids 3101 Lanyard with Stainless Steel Carabiner + Cinch-Loop features an energy-absorbing cord with tubular-nylon webbing and lock-stitching at both ends for reliable, secure performance throughout its listed stretch range. A manual-locking, corrosion-resistant stainless steel carabiner on one end enables easy, secure attachment to either anchor points or tools, and its captive-eye attachment design helps the user to better predict the direction of the load, keeping the potential for the lanyard to slide into the carabiner's gate minimal. A cinch-loop at the other end of the lanyard allows for tethering to either captive-hole attachment-equipped tools and/or to the user's wrist. Reflective accents along the cord's length help improve visibility in low-light conditions. These tool lanyards are built to withstand defined weight limits and can easily be used by any worker to help avoid accidentally dropping objects that could cause damage or serious injuries. Third-party certified to an 15 lb maximum working capacity with a 2:1 safety factor, these lanyards are ideal for a wide range of industry applications including construction, telecommunications, petro-chemical operations, utility-line maintenance and a variety of other areas where working at heights is the norm.
