Slapdown is a death metal band formed in 2013 France. Initially exploring a Nu Metal style, everything changed when the band parted ways with their singer. More violent, faster and more brutal, it is with effective and dynamic tracks that they welcome their new singer in 2015 In 2018 Slapdown releases "CULT" in self-production, the first release of the band composed of seven tracks including "Blood Pulse" accompanied by it's video clip, which accumulates more than 7,000 views on Facebook and Youtube when it is released. A Thrash Death influence that has been able to have a good reception from the public, and proves it's worth during the concerts. The following year, the band goes back to work to release a studio album. At the end of 2020, Slapdown went to the Kohlekeller Studio in Germany to record their next album, which is currently being released. With as a special guest, Julien Truchan from Benighted who will tune his legendary pig squeals to one of their tracks. Slapdown is: Nicolas on bass, Olivier on drums, Vincent on guitar and Estéban on vocals.
