Brick ties provide a connection between the wood structure and brick veneer. The new, high-performance BTH™ brick tie is a tested solution for connecting masonry veneer to wood structures across airspaces from 2 to 3 in, providing the flexibility needed to meet the veneer spacing requirements. The new BTH design adds strength and versatility, making this tie the ideal solution for varied jobsite conditions. It's field-adjustable in two places and can be installed with either side facing up. Use existing Simpson Strong-Tie® brick ties, BTB and BT, for 1 in prescriptive code airspace requirement or at a closer spacing for airspaces from 1 to 2 in.
