PURCHASED FROM THE SAPPHIRE & OPAL CENTRE IN 1975
ORIGINALLY THE MATERIAL WAS BEAUTIFUL WE MOVED TO LAS VEGAS IN DEC 1979
WE COULD NOT FIND THE BOX THAT WAS STORED OFF SITE IN A METAL SHED
FOUND THE BOX IN 1986 & THE DRY HEAT DID DAMAGE TO THE OPAL YES IT IS HOT IN
AUSTRALIA WHERE THEY FIND OPAL BUT THE UNDER GROUND IS STILL MOIST
SOLD MY SHOP EQUIPMENT SEVERAL YEARS AGO SO WILL LIST 50% BELOW COST YOU WILL STILL FIND PIECES THAT ARE OK WITH FIRE YOU COULD TREAT WITH GLYCERIN OIL THAT WILL HELP YOU CAN TUMBLE SOME & DILL FOR STRINGING BREAK UP A LITTLE MORE & MAKE MOSAIC. etc. IT'S BETTER USING THE MATERIAL THAN JUST SITTING IN A BOX. CHECK GOOGLE HOW TO STORE OPAL YOU CAN MAYBE FIX.
