Book is in pristine condition due to the slip cover protecting it for years. The slip cover has normal shelf wear. This book retailed for 2,000 yen in 1999. It has very nice quality art prints, film stills, and a whole section depicting the storyboarding process for the film.
This is a super cool collectors item for anyone that is interested in Japanese culture, 90s films, vintage collectibles, or kaiju (giant monsters). Gamera was initially made in 1965 to capitalize on Godzilla’s success, but quickly became it's own unique thing.
