About – A midspan adaptor allows a PoE-compatible device such as an Entry panel, monitor, PoE splitter or Net2Air Bridge to be connected using a single cable when the network switch does not have PoE available. The network cable will then provide power to the equipment as well as a data connection.

Installation – You simply insert the adaptor in-line with the network cable and connect a mains power supply. ‘Data in’ is connected to the network switch/hub and ‘data plus power out’ to the equipment being powered.
