Original Signed Painting of Hunting Dogs and Quail Vintage Art Missouri artist

This is an original vintage painting in oil on canvas board depicting two hunting dogs (spaniels) and a covey of quail in a field with haystacks as painted and signed by F. Latimer (American, 20th century). The only thing I know about Latimer is that she was from Missouri and was the wife of a proud World War II veteran. This panting was one of two dog hunting scenes painted by Latimer for a father and son who were both avid sportsmen. This work belonged to the father but I was told the son’s painting - although the same size - was different than the father’s and therefore not a copy. I learned this info from the family. It’s a beautiful work and suggests that Latimer had some prior training but perhaps not. The painting is large (approximately 28” by 35” framed), in wood frame with linen border and light - this is not a heavy painting so it will be easy to hang. The painting is in VERY GOOD condition!
