Pipe wrap tape is engineered to uniform plumbing code (UPC) standards with a 20 mil UV-resistant PVC cover and strong adhesive inner which makes it ideal for protecting metal and plastic pipes which are buried underground or exposed to the elements. It will help reduce condensation and extend the life of metal pipes, and it will protect plastic pipes from UV breakdown and abrasion. It has a wide variety of other applications, including for wrapping foam pipe insulation and drainage pipe.
