Nippon tea set in excellent condition without any cracks, hairlines, or crazing ( tea pot has small chip inside the rim)
The floral motif was very popular during the Victorian period of late 1800's to early 1900's. Features a rare blown out pumpkin mold design with white porcelain body. Handle, finial, feet, and tip of the spout are cobalt blue with cobalt blue flow at the top of the lid and along the rims of the set. Heavy use of bright gold Moriage overlay embellishments scrolling flourishes encircling the body with shades of light and dark pink roses interspersed with pale green leaves, and dark and light lavender petaled flowers. Amazing condition for a set that is over 100 years old.
