Digitally remastered two-fer containing a pair of albums from the Funk/Soul band. Mass Production was a ten-piece from Norfolk Virginia who came to the attention of music business entrepreneur Ed. A. Ellerbe. The band ended up making a total of eight albums with a few minor personnel changes from their debut WELCOME TO OUR WORLD in 1976. The first album features the single "Welcome to Our World", and the cover is a definite homage to the Isley Brothers 3+3 sleeve with the band kitted out in leather and in similar poses for which they thanked the Isleys in the liner notes. The second album BELIEVE from which the band made a significant dent on the U.K club scene in the late 70s and early 80s with their 12" instrumental Jazz Funk anthem "Cosmic Lust", actually a club classic to this day.
