The Larson Electronics LEDPLL-SP4501-120V Outdoor Twist-To-Lock Photocell Control is 120V and made to automate LEDPLL series of LED light fixtures to turn off during daylight and on when dark. This photocell control works with most applications including mercury vapor, high pressure sodium or metal halide fixtures.
This LEDPLL-SP4501-120V Outdoor Twist-To-Lock Photocell Control is designed to detect ambient lighting and tell whether it is night or day outside. This technology helps to ultimately save on energy costs by only running the LED light fixture when it is dark out, and keeping it off when daylight hours appear.
The LEDPLL-SP4501-120V photocell features a metal spiral shape with a clear plastic finish. This 3-prong twist-lock unit requires no seasonal adjustments and is ideal for road, parking lot and driveway lighting. Installation is as simple as inserting this photocell into the back of any LEDPLL fixture and then twisting to lock into place. All of these automatic sensors have been made to replace all other brands of photocells for the LEDPLL series lights and are ETL listed for wet locations, IP65 rated and ROHS compliant to meet industry standards for safety and longevity.
