The vocalist who had conquered Europe and won jazz polls across the world completely floored the young and vulnerable Julie, who knew the words June uttered were sincere. Here, she pays tribute to the legendary vocalist and draws from the library of material she recorded with the Stan Kenton Orchestra, including "It Might As Well Be Spring," "Something Cool," "Gone for the Day" and others.
