A combination of electrolytes, glycine (an amino acid) and glucose which aids electrolyte replacement resulting from sweat loss during strenuous long distance exercise and transportation especially during hot weather.
Dosage and administration:
Give after exercise or during work, diluted in fresh clean drinking water. Provide adequate fresh water at all times.
Dilution rate:
Light work - 40ml/2L drinking water
Heavy work - 80ml/2L drinking water
Volumes for administration:
Horses over 300kg - 4L of diluted solution after light work, 8L after heavy work
Ponies under 300kg - 2L of diluted solution after light work, 4L after heavy work.
Endurance rides: 80ml/2L and provide at least 2L of diluted solution as often as possible during the event.
