Martyn Ware and Ian Craig Marsh left the original lineup of the Human League after having differences with Phil Oakey. They recruited Glenn Gregory (who's vocal's were remarkably similar to Oakey's) and Heaven 17 was born. Their first single together, "We Don't Need This Fascist Groove Thing", was an immediate hit, a political call to arms against the rise of conservatives both in the UK and US. They continued forth with "I'm Your Money", "At the Height of the Fighting" and "Penthouse & Pavement" and their career was off to a swift start. It went into hyperspace with the megahit "Let Me Go", which hit big on both sides of the Atlantic. This collection gathers all their hits from their entire career run on a single convenient disc.
