2017 release. Ten years after his debut album Blues Journey, Italian singer and guitarist Francesco Piu presents his fifth work Peace & Groove. Francesco Piu has been touring in the US and Canada, and performing at prominent European blues festivals. He also collaborated with some big names in the business (Eric Bibb produced his third album, and he's dueted with Tommy Emmanuel, Guy Davis, and Roy Rogers). On this musical adventure, he teamed up with some of the best Italian blues and soul musicians, and wrote the lyrics (in English) with award-winning writer Salvatore Niffoi. The end result is Peace & Groove, an album that blends blues, soul, funk, and gospel music to tell stories about love, war, and hope.
