| The Larson Electronics EPCS-MTS-3P-5HP-480V-PB.RG Explosion Proof Motor Control Station is designed for use in Class I, II and III rated combustible sites. This 3-pole device operates on 480V AC and features a 120V coil with start/stop momentary push buttons. Suitable for wet locations, the unit provides operators with general motor control protection, motor overload and under-voltage protection. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO EXPLOSION PROOF ENCLOSURES* The EPCS-MTS-3P-5HP-480V-PB.RG is made of corrosion-resistant cast copper-free aluminum and features a semi-clamshell design with an external flanged ground joint between the body and cover to make interior components easily accessible. Compatible with 480V AC, a motor operating starting handle is located on the right side wall of the enclosure. This 3-pole unit is equipped with a 120V coil and start/stop momentary push buttons. The 18-amp explosion proof device includes versatile internal operating mechanisms that allow easy field adjustment and can accommodate various standard manufacturer starters. This NEMA-rated explosion proof motor control enclosure`s body, cover and operating handle is constructed of copper-free aluminum, and the operating shaft and brushing is stainless steel. Stainless steel springs allow operators to clearly see that all bolts are fully retracted from the body. A neoprene cover gasket seals out moisture and is permanently attached to the cover. Wiring: The explosion proof station contains three, 2" NPT hubs for completing electrical connections. One 2" NPT hub is located at the top of the unit and two 2" NPT hubs are located at the bottom. Mounting: The EPCS-MTS-3P-5HP-480V-PB.RG caters to simple installations, facilitated by an included pre-drilled mounting plate within the enclosure, which is field removable. A steel bracket for lifting larger enclosures during installation is also included in the standard model. Applications: Indoor and outdoor general motor control protection in hazardous locations, areas where frequent washdowns occur, or where heavy rain and water spray are present, motor overload and under-voltage protection, and locations where a centrally located motor control is necessary. |
