The Larson Electronics EPFC-E16-4450-30-ATEX Explosion Proof Box Fan / Blower Cart safely and effectively redirects stale air from hazardous location areas. This explosion proof blower meets ATEX standards for hazardous locations and provides high 4450 CFM output for effective airflow in larger spaces.

This portable, electric explosion proof blower (exhaust fan) is suitable for confined spaces and is approved to UL safety standards for hazardous locations, including Class 1 Division 1 Group D and Class 2 Division 1 Groups E, F and G. This blower features a high efficiency 1/2 hp motor which is fully encapsulated and a precision balanced, non sparking aluminum 21-blade system for high output and protection against accidental ignitions. This fan has 16 inch intake and exhaust flanges and produces 4450 CFM of air output.
This explosion proof blower is encapsulated in a high strength, anti-static glass reinforced, corrosion proof and chemical resistant ABS housing. The complete blower systems is mounted to a non-sparking aluminum frame with locking casters to provide ease in mobility and transportation. This box blower/fan operates on standard 230 VAC with a 40 amp in-rush draw and 8 amp constant draw. Included with this unit is 30 feet of cord fitted with an ATEXÂ hazardous location splash proof schuko plug.
Note on explosion proof blowers: Can be used as an intake and an exhaust fan.
