The Dusty Motors Universal Adjustable Protection Cover Size is a high quality, hand made, dust and water splash proof shroud. This universal fit protection cover was developed to fit a variety of applications, but has been found to fit the Traxxas Sledge perfectly. The 14.2" wide, 14.2" long XL size cover will also fit a variety of other models from Axial, HPI, Losi, Tekno, Team Associated and others - check your measurements and see if it fits!
The shroud features a zipper closure opening, helping to simplify connecting/disconnecting batteries and accessing the power switch, eliminating the need to remove the shroud every time you need access. The shroud is made from high quality, breathable material that is strong, durable and efficient. The open area of the material is more than 50% of total shroud surface, so it allows excellent airflow to keep the model electronics cool, while preventing debris, moisture and other contaminants from getting in the chassis.
Plus, each shroud includes a shock absorber cover. This cover comes in one long piece, so it can be be cut to length for a variety of different length and diameter shocks. Two included lengths of a cover will be enough for 8-16 shock absorbers, depending on a length of one.
NOTE: During extended running sessions, it is recommended that during breaks the shroud is unzipped to allow the ESC and motor to cool quicker.
