DIF 10044 is a direct drop-in upgradefor the hard lines that come with CA18DET engine with Bottom Mount Turbocharger. Stock hard lines tend to crack and leak and are very difficult to work with due to the inherentrigidity of the material. Because the hard lines do not give, it may cause the installer tomis-threadthe banjo bolts into the block and messing up the fragile aluminum treads. DIF turbo linesare made from a seamless synthetic CPE inner with an integral stainless steel braid and a high tensile stainless steel outer braid which allows the line to be flexible yet still strong. This resultsin lines that are much easier to install and maintain. The original coolant line banjo bolts are swapped for AN to metric adapter fittings for a better seal. This is a highly recommended upgrade for everyone planning to work on their turbo.
This kit includes everything you need to completely replace the stock lines for a easy bolt-on installation. The oilrestrictorincluded in this kit is made to match original equipment specifications (.062 in / 1.6 mm). The oil restrictor may be substituted in the future so the lines can be reused for different type of turbochargers.
