Cambridge 2511 Sandwich Plate 9 3/8 Inches EAPG 1897
I have for sale a gorgeous sandwich plate, 9 3/8" across, by Cambridge, circa 1897. I found a tiny 'cut' into the rim---I'm not sure how it happened, if it's a flaw or an inclusion. I also saw a bit of roughness and an even smaller cut where it looked like there had been some stress to the glass. It is pressed glass so the two pieces are melded together and the edges feel a bit rough as compared to new glass. There are some strawmarks. Weighs 1lb 3oz.
