Black Jack® 6460-9-20 Drive Patch Blacktop Crack & Hole Repair, 10 lbs

This Blacktop Crack & Hole Repair is a ready to use sand and asphalt patching compound that spreads to a smooth finish. Latex fortified, Speed-Patch™ provides a long lasting durable repair for small holes and cracks (up to 3" wide and 3” deep). Speed-Patch™ dries black to match existing asphalt pavements.

Preparation:

• Use Driveway Kleen™ prior to applying driveway patches and coating to surfaces. All dirt, and light oil stains must be removed for proper adhesion of driveway repair products and sealers. Rinse areas thoroughly with water leaving no puddles. Remove any loose and flaking material from area prior to application.

Application:

• Apply product on a clear, warm, sunny day when surface temperature is at least 65°F and rising. Do not apply if rain or cooler temperatures are expected within 24 hours. Mix contents to a uniform consistency and apply to slightly dampened surface. Do not apply to cracks or holes which have water puddles. Use trowel or putty knife to apply Speed-Patch to fill problem areas, ending with a smooth surface finish. For repairs or depths greater than 1”, it is recommended that the compound be applied in layers. This will assure proper drying and strength.
• If weather conditions are cool and or damp, drying time will be extended. Allow 24-48 hours before vehicle traffic.

Coverage rate:

• Approximately 10 lbs. will patch an area 10 sq. ft. x 1/8" deep.

Clean-up:

• Clean tools with soap and water when wet, or an orange citrus cleaner when cured.
