The Imperial Palace of Japan is intricately embedded in this vintage masterpiece. The artist is very successful in conveying his love for Japan's culture and heritage. Sophistication, excellence, and genius craftsmanship are some of the characteristics of Japanese artists that can be seen in all their works. This beautiful vintage set was manufactured between 1945 and 1951. During this era, the products that were exported to the USA were mandated by the General Headquarters of Allied Forces to be labeled "Occupied Japan."

The set consists of:
(2) Demitasse teacups that measure 2.2"x3.5"
(2) Demitasse saucers that measure 5"
(1) Sugar bowl with lid that measures 6" from handle to handle and from handle to the bottom
(1) Teapot that measures 8" from handle to spout and 9" from the tip of the lid to the bottom.

The set is in excellent condition. No chips, cracks, or crazing. Perfect as a wedding, birthday, or anniversary gift, or as an addition to your collections. Thank you!
