Archaeological finds, travel and a love for the classical periods prompted Fortunato Pio Castellani (and his son Alessandro Castellani) to create Etruscan jewelry, reminiscent of the Etruscan goldsmiths. These antique screw-back earrings (circa 1880) are beautifully preserved. There is some wear to the backs as shown, which will be unnoticeable when wearing. Screw backs work nicely, so the earrings will stay on securely. Posts marked "Gold Filled", "1/20" and "12k"
