Antique Turkish Textile With Metal Woven Into Fabric.
My mother had a friend who owned an antique shop in Turkey in the 1960’s and this was a piece from her shop.
I don’t know when it dates back to.
The fabric has metal woven into it. The silver pieces are actually metal pieces sewn through the fabric like thread. I’m not sure if it is silver or not.
There are spots/stains on this from age. Please see all photos.
Approximately 16.5” x 32”.
Probably best displayed in a frame with glass. My family has had it in storage for years.
