This is a very rare one of a kind carving . What makes it rare is the age, the size and the highly skilled craftsmanship. It was carved out of a single piece of wood with detail and precesion.The barrell is even hollow. It is absolutely unbelievable that someone could have carved this by hand with it being so delicate and not to have broken it in the process. It also has tiny metal pins in it for added detail. It takes a magnifying loop to really appreciate the work. Makes a great addition to that gun collection.
