As shown. See all photos. Really good condition. Stunning cover design and color illustrations. Belonged to my late mother. Probably her parents before her.

“Otto Rothfeld's 'Women of India' looks at the lives of the women in India through all walks of life, from the aristocracy, to middle classes, to the working class. He also looks at marriage and married life for Indian women, and the dress style of the time. With forty-eight coloured plates by Mahadev Vishwanath Dhurandhar. He studied under John Griffiths at the J.J. School of Art in Bombay, where he later became a Professor and Headmaster. He was known for his postcard illustrations, as well as for various books, such as 'By-Ways of Bombay' and 'Deccan Nursery Tales'. Collated, complete.”
