This planner cannot fit personal-size inserts. It only fits A6 inserts because the hole spacing is different. However, A6 binders can also use A7punched inserts, as the holes match

About the color: the outside of the planner is smooth real leather in a deep purple shade, and the inside is real leather with a pebbled texture in a lavender color.
