1945 vintage children’s book: Trouble on the Ark by Tony Maclay, aka Walt Kelly. This extremely rare and hard to find hardcover vintage book was written and illustrated by Walt Kelly under the pen-name Tony Maclay. The illustrations are a mixture of grayscale and full color. It was manufactured in the USA by Veritas Press, Inc. New York in 1945. As shown in the photos the book is in excellent condition: no rips, tears, or markings to any of the pages and the binding is completely intact, no loose pages; There is minor shelf wear to the corners of the cover, see photos.
