This is a rare hand colored lithograph by John Gould and his wife Elizabeth circa late 1800s.

This illustration features two Trogon Duvaucelii birds also known as “Duvaucel’s Trogon” sitting on a berry branch.

The plate is inscribed “drawn from nature on stone by J & E. Gould” and “printed by C. Hullmandel”

This is an original lithograph which is unframed. 14.5 x 21.5

Some slight foxing and discoloration as to be expected. Some staining and small holes at top where it was once hung with thumbtacks.

Will be shipped in a tube
