14k White Gold Ring - Iolite and Diamond - Anniversary Band - Size 6.5

14K white gold band with three oval cut iolite gemstones and four brilliant cut diamonds. The iolite are set slightly elevated with four prongs; the diamonds are recessed in-between, half bezel - half prong set. It was difficult to capture the exact color of the iolite (I tried with two different cameras). They exhibit their natural pleochroism, reflecting light in different colors depending on the angle. They are a soft, medium saturated purple blue. In excellent vintage condition, both gold and gemstones show minimal wear consistent with gentle use. It does appear to have been resized at some point.

♦ Dimensions: Ring is size 6.5 (17 mm in diameter). The band is 2 mm at the shank tapering to 1 mm at the back. The three iolite are 4 x 3 mm, approximately .14 carat each. The diamonds are 1 mm, .005 carat each. Total weight is 2 grams.
