1/24 1985 Pontiac Fiero GT Plastic Model Kit
One of the most discussed new car launches of the eighties was the two-seater, mid-engine 1984 Pontiac Fiero.
With an innovative space frame design and plastic body, it was a fuel-efficient sports car that fit perfectly into the era and quickly caught the attention of the public.
Powered by a simple but powerful "Iron Duke" four-cylinder, the Fiero GT launched in 1985. Pontiac confidently labeled it "More show. More go. More wing. More zing." It had a more powerful 2.8-liter multi-injection V6 engine and a special aero kit for the body. The latter was almost entirely taken over by the race-ready '84 Fiero, which served as the pace car for the Indy 500 that year.
This easy-to-build 1:24 scale Revell kit meticulously recreates the '85 Fiero GT.
